What Rental Durations are Offered? Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly

Types of Rental Duration

Rent Items offers 4 different rental durations for the owner and renter to choose from. The owner sets the rental duration they would like to offer for each of their products when adding items to their inventory. The renter has the option to choose items based on the type of rental duration offered by owners.

2. Daily
3. Weekly
4. Monthly 

1. Hourly Rentals

Rentals for hourly products are charged on a per hour basis. To rent an item hourly, click the desired start time and drag to the desired end time and the cost is calculated based on the number of hours selected.

2. Daily Rentals

Rentals for daily products are charged on a per calendar day basis. To rent a daily product, click the desired start date and end date on the calendar and the cost is calculated based on the number of days selected. In order to select just one day, double click on the date. For example, on August 20th, 2019, click twice to select a 1-day rental. 

3. Weekly Rentals

Rentals for weekly products are charged based on 7-calendar days. To rent an item weekly, click the desired start date and the cost is calculated based on the number of weeks selected.

Monthly Rentals

Rentals for monthly products are based on choosing the start month and days on the calendar. To rent a monthly product, first select the month or range of months. Then select the desired start date on the calendar and the cost is calculated based on the number of months selected.
